Our impact

At Simplitude, we make sure that the products we sell fit into at least one of the following categories. It’s our way of making an impact on our planet and fellow humans.

Also, all of the brands we sell are Canadian, and almost all of the products and materials we offer are made here (most of the exceptions are for materials we can’t grow here, e.g., bamboo, coffee, coconut…)

Eco-friendly shipping

Our orders ship out only once a week, on Tuesdays, to limit the truck’s carbon emissions. We also use recycled and used packaging; some elements can even be composted, like our corn starch packing peanuts. Lastly, shipping in and around Montreal is made with electric vehicles and bicycles.

Encouraging local economy

With take very little profit margins on the products we sell (us: 2-8% / classic distributors: 35-40%). Our membership is our main revenue source, and allows us to give back most of the profit to the supplier. It’s our spin on a win-win solution!

1% of our revenues go to non-profit organisations

Every month, we give 1% of our revenues back to non-profit organisations. It’s important for us to give back to organisations that are dear to our community’s hearts, so drop us a line to let us know if you have any suggestions.
